To All, I don't have my '65 manual handy (It's in my 300L which is at some distance from where I am.) but the manual for my '68 Imperial says to use Dexron ATF, which is Type A. I should think that the '65 is the same since they changed it in '64. Thanks. Bill Hi Bill and All: According to my service manuals, brake fluid was specified for the convertible top hydraulic systems through 1963. In 1964 the specification was changed to Automatic Transmission fluid, Type A suffex A. I do not have a 1965 manual, but doubt they would have changed it back the next year. Hope this helps. 300ly, Gil Cunningham [Non-text portions of this message have been removed] ------------------------ Yahoo!
