Wow have never known of flash chrome doing that!!!

Anyway I am sure that the wheelcovers and SS trim on all 55 Chryslers was 
flash chromed.

Contact George Iverson who informed me of this practice some time ago.  I 
Was amazed but it explained a lot of stuff which I had seen.
