I have a bunch of motors and gear assays.  But as I recall there are 
possibly 3 kids of motor/gear box configurations that have different 
mounting hole locations.  some time back a fellow Lister needed a motor 
I sent pictures as well as he sending his and it was here that we saw a 
significant difference.  I attached the photos of types I have,  turns 
out his (1959,60 0r 61?? was different yet) .I, in my 62's (hdt's) found 
inconsistent, between cars,  use of right and left hand gear boxes for 
each  similar location. Let me know what you need.  Contact me directly.
