[Chrysler300] Electroluminescent needles

One of the more impressive features on the G is the electroluminescent
lighting in the dash.  The challenging part is to repair the pointers on the
gauges, radio, and tach when they stop working.

The pointer on my 7 button radio has stopped lighting.  The pointer is
getting power, the wire is not broken, but it won't light. Any repair advice
or suggestions from those in the know?
