[Chrysler300] rust question

Hello all,
 
Pulled the carpets inside my 66 and found a little bit of rust. Does anyone have a favorite rust treatment for after I sand the spots off? And by the by, has anyone used that rust black spray in a can? Does it actually chemically convert the rust?
