I agree on the use of radial tires. I drove my 300C Oregon to Montana to a car show with bias-ply tires and the car wandered and chased ruts and divits in the road all the way. My wife was following in our Buick Rendezvous and said I looked like a drunk driver ahead of her. Later that same summer I drove to Montana again but this time the 300C had a new set of radials and I really noticed the difference. This was a good test as I drove the same route with the same car and the only difference was the tires. Also I drove about 1500 miles on each round trip. As a side-note, we took the 300C and the 61 Newport to a car show in Washington state last month and returned with 3 trophys. Two second place trophys, 1 for each car in its year catagory, and a big President's Trophy for the 300C as his choice of his favorite of the entire show. Happy belated birthday to John Hertog, and the rest of you have a great 300 summer.........Rusty and Thelma Roe in Hermiston Oregon .
