At the Pleasanton Good Guys meet a couple of weeks ago, my B won "Slickest MOPAR" award. Sunday(it was a 2 day show with winners posted on Saturday) as we sat in the Winner's Circle with all other class winners, the car generated as much interest as most any car in the Circle. Several of the interested spectators indicated that they had the new 300 C and one in particular was fascinated by the B as he had never seen one of the "original" 300 hemi's. I think if I had placed a for sale on the car that day, it would have sold several times. A number of questions were regarding what it might cost to restore one and what it was now worth. I told all that it was cheaper to buy one already done then to buy a basic car and restore it, that restoring was a money melting proposition but there was some joy in birthing if you could stand the pain. Again if you ever have a chance to take your 300 to a Good Guys meet(they are huge with upwards of 3000 beautiful cars), you will have as good a time as you can have at a car show. People will be fascinated by your car. At a MOPAR show you are just one of many. http://www.good-guys.com/ Roger Schaaf ----- Original Message ----- From: <xramkroozer@xxxxxx> To: <obiwan10@xxxxxxxxxxx>; <chrysler300@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Friday, June 17, 2005 5:01 AM Subject: Re: [Chrysler300] chrysler 300 people:our shrinking demographic > WE'RE ALL "CAR GUYS" & CARS ARE THE COMMON DENOMINATOR.
