My thanks too to everyone responsible for the meet.  My time there was short
but I really enjoyed meeting so many interesting members and seeing so many
great cars.  Thanks too to Jim Krause for the dual cylinder brake advice and
to Herb Moore for identifying a pair of reinforcing plates I had never
installed on my C.  (Glad no one bought them).

Thanks also to everyone who bought parts (especially the big spenders) - my
wife Barb is also very happy I cleaned house.

I had an unpleasant experience driving my 66 Plymouth from Ohio to
Wisconsin.  It had a good brake system when it was stored in 1990.  We went
over everything to make sure it was roadworthy and test drove it, but after
about 100 miles and a few hard stops on US 23/75, four of the 8 shoes came
apart and essentially disintegrated.  The other 4 still looked good.  Anyway
I limped to a Midas shop and they took care of me.  I guess time/storage can
effect brake lining material.
