[Chrysler300] 300-g

Hi Club;

A good reporter will tell you that if it has fins, swims like a fish, has a tail like a fish that you can usually deduce that it is a fish.
I have watched the goings on of the sale of the 300-g (red now) which over the past day jumped in value by just under 26% , an act that surely can only be akin to rubbing an old bottle that you find in your back yard and a Gene appears to grant you a wish.
This car was owned back in the mid sixties by a now deceased gentleman in my city. Hiis survining wife tells me that when she drove in the car it had, to her best recollection 75 or 76 thousand miles on it. That was before they drove it to Anaheim , Calfornia , where they received the , "long distance award" Unless the car got there by a true ," Act of God" , that would add a further five thousand onto the speedometer.
Now following the passing of this old time car club member , Vic Osepenko , the car, along with his other collection was put up for sale . His wife passed the trophy to me and I have watched the goings on hoping that someday I might return that trophy to the car's owner . But Alas , at twenty some thousand orginal miles someone must have misread the Vin plate. The car, as I am told, was sand blasted in a neighboring province by a small town body shop with the result that, one individual who saw it described it as corn cob . It left Canada and headed south after our own version of the "good doctor" had bought it and peddled it south of the border. Because of my interest in the vin plate I have watched the goings on . This car does have a story to tell indeed , perhaps not to the liking of many . As for the here to for unheard of increase in the value of this car from sale to sale, and day to day , I can only marvel at the interest .. but a question does remain in my mind, wasn't it Barnum and Bailey who remarked many years ago that there is a sucker born every minute?
