Ray,

You hit the nail on the head.  That is exactly what this is about.  That 
you have to be determined, smart and creative to keep these old cars 
going.  Sometimes you even have to do a little re engineering on some late 
model part just to keep your 300 on the road.  This will only become more 
so as 300s become more rare and people's memory of '50s and 60s cars fades.

When the 300s were selling for such high prices recently some people said 
well they are the "new" Dusenbergs.  Try to get parts for a Dusenberg at 
the NAPA store.  That is the down side I guess.  I think people with 300s 
are going to have to get used to it.
