A few years ago I went into a Pep Boys (Allentown, PA) looking for a 
part for my '64 300. I don't remember what. The young girl at the parts 
counter asked what I wanted and when I told her she said "we don't have 
anything for that. The only thing we have going back that far is for 
something called 'Volkswagen'."
