Re: [Chrysler300] Todays A O L

Rich and all,

Gil Cunningham have discussed the body issue over the years and have come to the conclusion that the quarter panels are Windsor simply because of less trim than the New Yorker, thus less holes. Remember that the trim on a C300/300B is Windsor and there is no New Yorker eyebrow over the windshield. Did you know that there are more than one eyebrow and center cap for those 1955 cars?

The hood is Imperial as the Windsor and New Yorker have a indent to accept the "bird". Regarding the bumper, the blade is the basic unit used by all except on the 300 the front guards are move out further. Side note: Next time you see a '55 Imperial note the bumpers and you will not see any bumper bolts exposed.

There is a stainless strip on both the C300/300B just under the grills behind the bumper. That piece is unique to those cars alone.

I've put together an article that should be coming out in a future club news that will show the many differences between the two years and also the items they share. As I state in the article there may be some errors and I'm constantly learning more, so I ask for input.
