I agree w/ Russ! What I wouldn't give to have a car again that would allow me to listen to that wonderful clatter of solid lifters again! You don't appreciate some things until you no longer have them. Sure wish my "F" had solid lifters.....

  Why would you want to deprive yourself of some of the fun entailed in owning a ram 300!  Seriously, for the number of times you have to adjust the valves, you will go through a lot more work (and expense) changing the cam.  My vote is to leave it be and enjoy that lovely solid lifter sound!
