Hi Paul,
I can give you the basics but others will give you a more technical
explanation. The Turn Signal Canceling Switch is actually on the steering
column. When the steering wheel is going back to straight after making your
turn, there is a little arm on the switch that send an electrical signal to
cancel the Turn Signal Lever. If you remove the Turn Signal Canceling
Switch from the steering wheel and move the arm to the left or right it
should return to center. If it does not, you need a new switch. It's that
simple.
