Using Zenith wire wheels 20 years ago that were meant to have tubes I
discovered that the Pereli tires had heavy ribs inside making a tube
unusable.  I worked GE silicone in and around all the nipples and put a thin
coating over all the nipples and wrapped it with duct tape, in 15 years they
never leaked.
