RE: [Chrysler300] 1961 Clock

Joe, Andy and list,

Her is the company that converted my clock to quartz movement:

Instrument Services
Roscoe Ill (they moved form Wisconsin)
800-558-2674
815-623-2993

The EL lighting was retained, and the clock does make a ticking sound. The
second hand does not move in quick jerks, i.e.; a dead stop and then move
again, but it does have a pulsation to it, not a smooth sweep.

I have yet to fool around with my clocks, but if you
do send it out, make sure your supplier's modern
movement has a second hand that "ticks" instead of
"sweeps" and that it will still be able to use the EL
lighting. These would be important considerations to
me, since the updates would not affect the original
feel of the car.
