Dear List,

I LIKE to see responses to 300 related questions directed to the list and
not just the individual alone. The simple reason being is that many of us
want to become more familiar with all 300s, not just the one we own. I
enjoyed the conversation about Batwing air cleaners on the early cars, even
though I don't own one.

Frankly, I find it a bit irritating when I find out that a 300 question was
posted, and an answer was not given through the list server, but directly to
the person that asked the question. The purpose of this list is to
disseminate information to all participants, not just the person that posted
the question. I'm not talking about personal issues or if someone has a
certain part they are looking for and someone has it, that should remain
between the two parties for obvious reasons. But general 300 discussion,
"how to" answers, general 300 part availability questions, all make for
good useful list postings that may not be of interest to all but some.

If the 300 related topic is not of interest to you, use your delete key!
