Re: [Chrysler300] What makes a 300 "real"??

Tha't's interesting....

I wonder if anyone out there has any old magazines with road tests from '62 ????

I really am curious (honestly) how a 1962 BelAir bubbletop with a 409/425 would do in a drag race against a 62 300 ........

If not - maybe we have ourselves a great idea for one of the meets this summer. (?)

Heck - even I would show up for that one !

well, maybe.......

Sean.

Geeze, I thought all this time it was about styling and character. Guess
it's time to throw in the hobby towel and break out the gloves so I can get
the extra required 30 cubic inches and crossram under the hood. Sure I'd
like it to be a letter car, but I'd rather have my 300 than any of the ugly
underpowered Chevys from 62.

PS. Please don't tell Mr Exner!
