13 years, well I am going on 21 with the Roman Red K, it is painted, most
chrome done or replaced, headliner in, suspension&steering 1/3 done(ball
joints and rear springs to do)runs great drives fine, but not "done"...then
the K convert, 4+ years and not even taken all the way apart yet, engine and
trans still in the K donor car, etc. Then in a moment of using my heart
instead of my brain, another K, opposite color combo of the first, just got
started on it when we made the "move" last summer.
Parting a letter car is a bittersweet experience. I have parted 2, a K
and now a J, you hate to do it, knowing what they are/were, but knowing you
are helping someone else get theirs back to where it once was helps.
Just another point of view on the subject(s) at hand. Happy New Year to
