300 Pricing Guidance

We are looking at a 1962 300 sport tomorrow. Although we already have one
(that I bought 15 years ago), we have no idea what a reasonable offer would
be. We saw it last about 3 years ago when the owner died. He was a mopar
friend of ours. It is his son that is selling it. The kid lost both his
parents in six months and he is in his early twenties. We wish to help him,
but can't afford much. We wish to make a very fair offer. If we can't
afford that offer, we will help him find someone who can. We have the
feeling that he has a very inflated idea of its worth. We just have no idea
even a range of what is fair.
The '62 sport is a white car with black interior. The interior is in great
shape (or was). The body is stripped and ready for paint. The all parts
are there, plus extras. The car is loaded with all options available. When
last we saw it, it had no rust. It has been sitting outside for the last
few years. The motor was a good running 383 before it was left to sit.
Anyone have any pricing ideas?
