Hi to All,

Below is the final information on high speed starters from Roadrunner
Starters that has been finalized by Owen Grigg with Tim Wood.

We still need help with a sample of a ?59-¹61 starter or stamped identifying
numbers. Can anyone help? Dead or dying starter lying around. Possibly, send
it to Tim for rebuild and for use as a means for him to supply high speed
starters.

I DID POST A REPLY FROM ROADUNNER STARTERS TO THE 300 LIST, AT THAT STAGE IT
WAS UNCLEAR WHAT WILL BE AVAILALE AND THE EMAIL MAY OF BEEN HARD TO FOLLOW.
I CALLED TIM THIS MORNING TO CONFIRM THE FOLLOWING.....
 
1/ THE HIGH TORQUE/SPEED STARTERS ARE AVAILABLE FOR THE '57 THRU '65
CHRYSLER 300's, FOR THE '55 & EARLY '56 YOU WILL NEED TO ENQUIRE WITH THE
NUMBERS OFF YOUR STARTER. HE ALREADY HAS SEVERAL OF THE '57-'58 UNITS BUILT.
 
2/ THE STARTER SPECIFICATIONS ARE..
4.4-1 GEAR REDUCTION
WEIGHS UNDER 9LBS
525 FT/LBS TORQUE
COMPACT, DURABLE & HEAT RESISTANT
12 MONTH WARRANTY
 
3/ THE COST ON ALL THE STARTERS IS $188 US + SHIP WHICH IS $56 FOR 4-10 DAY
OR $48 FOR 11-25 DAY DELIVERY.
 
4/ IF ANYONE COULD SUPPLY ME WITH THE #'s FROM THE TAG FOR THE '59-'61
STARTER I MAY HAVE ONE TO SEND DOWN AS A SAMPLE FOR TIM. HE SAID THIS WAS
NOT ABSOLUTELY NECESSARY AS HE HAS ALL THE SPEC NUMBERS BUT IT WOULD BE
HELPFUL.  
    
I HOPE THIS COVERS EVERYTHING. I'M SURE THOSE WHO ORDER WILL BE PLEASED
WITH THE RESULTS.
