I'm pretty sure it was the Lincoln "Futura" concept
car from 1954 or thereabouts that Barris used to make
the Batmobile. There was an article in maybe Car and
Driver several years ago that detailed how many
Batmobiles were built. They were Ford chassis with
427 engines...
