Hi Team, Don't know if I'm doing something wrong, but I'm on my second attempt (first by mechanic, second by me) and ps fluid still leaks from the sector shaft seal of my 57 steering box. The shaft looks good, maybe a little too good, as if a previous owner took some emery cloth to the shaft to clean it up and made it a wee bit smaller than it used to be. I don't want to rebuild the box, as it works fine, but can't stand the leak. Is there a way to find out if there is a seal that is the same outside diameter for pressing into the box, while having a slighty 'undersized', narrower inside diameter for holding tigher on the shaft? Is there a way to check for 'runout' or play of the shaft that could be causing it to still leak? If there is movement, it's not perceptible to the naked eye. Any suggestions are appreciated. John
