If any of you folks in Canada spend 8 grand to have a 300 motor , blue printed, seats changed , new pistons , cam ground to original specs , with a new water pump, power steering assembly and starter tossed in which should cost about 4500 Canadian, ( $ 10.99 US ) please phone me I have a bridge crossing one of the largest rivers in north America I would like to sell you. I'm afraid Paul that the Ttought of the Olympics coming to Vancouver has got those mechanics you're dealing with polishing up their genie bottles . I would never suggest for a moment that I could even carry John H's shorts or for that matter a bunch of you other guys when it comes to letter cars , but trust me I do know a bit about motors and at eight grand the guy that quotes anybody that price in Canada should wear a mask. As for making the motor run at its peak, that folks is why they were called 300's and that is also why they are still so revered . A lot of people's only memory is of the blur of a red, white and blue sign going by them, and that says it all. Ben Meisner 2-300-E's [Non-text portions of this message have been removed]
