One more bit of information. I was reading Chryslers Chassis book and they say they like to have there rear springs almost flat when setting with a normal load. The reason is the higher the arch above the center of the axle the more the car will lean over on turns. So that's where adding leaves or adding sway bars and heavier shocks come in. to help improve your suspension. and keep the springs fairly flat. But every time I see a flat spring on a car It makes me think its had it.---- Gary Barker
