Re: [Chrysler300] 68 300

Jeez I hope that we also must not worry that we are to become so politically correct that we have to be concerned about having our feelings hurt or hurting someone else's feelings in what we say here. We should be able to express our opinions accurately with little regard to who may be unhappy as long as we do not do so merely to offend or insult someone.
I live in Calif(the most disgustingly politically correct state in the US) so perhaps I am overly sensitive to the squawking going on here.

We are all adults and a few sticks and stones should not break our bones--even our kids understand this.

For my money, I love the diversity of the non-letter cars as many of these folks may be candidates to buy my B when I retire it and it is not like there are millions of letter cars out there such as with 57 Chevys to build a club around. I will assume that many letter car owners were non letter car owners at one time before acquiring their first or only one.

Well, Folks,

I'm not quite sure just what started the tempest in this teapot, but I want
to put my 2 cents in.

>From the very moment that I came upon this group, I was very plain in the
fact that I had no letter car, just a very tired old 1957 Saratoga 4dr. Now,
THAT is as far from glamorous as you can get, I guess.

WITHOUT EXCEPTION, I've been treated generously. It was made very clear to
me that all I needed to be to be a member of the club was AN INTEREST in the
300's. Plainly, not everyone can have one, but I've had lots of offers to
drive one, and was made very welcome to attend the meets. Members have been
generous in offers of material and moral support.

I'm sorry that someone has felt slighted and chooses to leave. I can only
hope they will reconsider.

Thanks to ALL of you!
