Re: [Chrysler300] Chrysler Turquoise

Folks:

Got two cans of the Plasti-Kote #210 today (allegedly the last two the
distributor in
Massachusetts had). I can ask about having duplicates made by El-Mar paints
in Haverhill, MA (they will put it in spray cans), but I know someone
indicated
that there is not necessarily consistency between cans of the Plasti Kote
itself. Also, the paint would not be heat resistant, but perhaps this would
OK for cooler running Wedges (the Plasti Kote can says good to 500 degrees -
I don't know what regular enamel would be good to, but I would think it
would be near that ). The biggest problem area would probably be the heat
crossovers on the 4 barrel manifolds and in-line quad manifolds.

Maybe Tower would be the better way to go (more of a mass-producer than the
paint shop near me). This would be especially true if there is a "Holy Grail
Sample" of original Chrysler Turquoise that someone has to give to them for
duplication purposes.

Thanks for all the help, BTW!!!

Keith
