Still looking for a 3.08 or higher(2.90??) for my torqueflite 300 B. 1957 and later will not work. Current 3.54 or there about makes solid lifters sound like they are swapping holes when driving at 75 mph or so. I spent a great deal of time removing and polishing my stainless(after having paid for a basically so so job on it when car was restored). Now looks excellent and I am quite pleased with myself. Probably spent 150(or more) hours on the project and learned a lot. If were to do again it would go much faster with what I learned and not having to do many pieces over several times. I would suggest that everyone give this a try as what you pay others to do is usually not to good and the knowledge will serve you well in all your future restorations. I did have a couple of side moldings that had pretty good door dents in them, and was able to get them pretty good but not perfect. Any leads on good used(no dents but scratched up is fine) pieces would be appreciated. Roger Schaaf [Non-text portions of this message have been removed]
