300C,D vs. NYer Brake Parts

Hi All -

Just curious what the difference is between the 300C and D (+Imperial) Brake
Dust Shields/Support Plates and the New Yorker Brake Dust Shields/Support
Plates. The parts book lists them as different part numbers.
