Where is the actual difference in size inbetween a "C" and a "D"

Hi all 300-lovers.

I know that someone out there will be able to straighten out my problem.
Where is the difference in size inbetween a C and D. I had a discussion
yesterday with another club member on where the differences might be. Tail
light lenses and interior are obvious and the area around the windshield too
but after consulting the wonderful book "Chrysler 300, America´s most
powerful car" we found out that there must be lots of other differences too.

There is an inch difference in overall lenght (in Front overhang?), width
is more on the "D" and so is height and especially rear seat height.
To me the cars are looking almost the same but if these figs are true a lot
of things will not interchange inbetween these two models. Anyone who might
help us on this pls,

Best regards
