[Chrysler300] '57 300C drive noise

Hi everyone,

Need some help to pin point where a REALLY annoying drivetrain whine is
coming from. It makes it under any acceleration whether moderate or hard,
when you back off it disappears completely. It's coming from underneath the
car. Doesn't seem to have the rumble of a rear wheel bearing and does not
happen under de-acceleration so I'm guessing/ thinking it's not
(?)differential/pinion preload etc.

Any suggestions on where to start looking or any tests I can do...

Thanks

Owen
