If fuel, fire and compression are right, it's gotta run. So, one of the 
three is off. Since it's been sitting for so long, I'd make sure the 
fuel is actually getting into the cyl. Yes, you have compression, that 
doesn't mean the gas is getting there, or getting there right. With all 
the cranking the plugs should be wet, sooner or later. Choke, crank and 
pull some plugs.

Which brings up another possibility, Try new plugs. I've had similar 
problems and the plugs were so fouled, they wouldn't fire. I'd start 
with that, actually, replace the plugs or at least clean them good wit 
break solvent and emery the contacts.
