I have had my G for maybe 5 years now, and it runs just fine on Sunoco 94. When I can't get that, it will run on Amoco 93 or almost any 93 octane without pinging at all. The only time I had a problem with it was when I got one tank full of "bad gas." Whether it was water in the gas, or just a low octane, once I added some 94 octane, the problems disappeared. I don't understand why your G requires 97 octane in order to run properly. Pete Fitch [Non-text portions of this message have been removed] ------------------------ Yahoo!
