Just bought a 2005 300C Hemi.....I also have a 1970 300 Hurst (and 68 Hemi GTX and 69 440 GTX)......interesting to see how car features have changed over the years....from a luxo-barge with tons of space to a luxury sporty car that makes driving as pleasurable as can be.....both turn heads wherever I go!.....the dealers can't keep em' in stock.....Steve Fogel, Bakersfield CA

Subject: Used 300 M

I was thinking about buying a used 300 M about 2002-2004. Is there anything I should check on these cars that may be a common problem? Are these generally trouble-free vehicles? My wife will be driving it. She has a 1999 Chrysler Concorde now that we bought new. She does a lot of driving and I want her to have something that is reliable. There are some 300 M's in this area at dealers that have 17,000-20,000 miles on them and they are going for $19,000-$21,000. Is this a fair price?

Subject: 57 C ballast resistor

The 57 C I am working on has no ballast resistor and I assume all Chryslers had them in 57 ? Can someone tell me for sure ? Also in the last six months or so I have tuned up 7 Chrysler prod. cars from the 50's and had 3 bad condensers---bought them from different places---is there a way to check them before installation. It's a pain to get the distributer out of some of these cars.--Johnnie Slayton
