[Chrysler300] Chevy advertisement with a C-300

Hello 300'ly to all!
            In the favorite old car advertisement section of this week's
edition of OLD CARS WEEKLY, the featured advertisement was of the new
1955 Chevrolets.  They had a large foreground shot of a '55 4 door with
the requisite two kids in the back seat with Ward Cleaver behind the
wheel and Betty Crocker in the front passenger seat.  Then there was a
picture off to the side of a cop parked just beyond an underpass standing
outside his '55 Chevy police cruiser looking for speeders.  Guess what
car is featured getting the cops attention right behind Ward & Betty and
the kids?  A '55 Chrysler 300!!!!  I couldn't believe that the numbskulls
advertising for the bowtie boys would pay such tribute to the first 300! 
No wonder the cop was standing outside his patrol car gawking. At least
he had the sense that his Chebby wouldn't hold a candle to the hemi!
             Speaking of bowties, I just brought home my first bowtie in
19 years tonight  (besides the ones that I wear with a Tux...don't fret
about not having one for the next club banquet in Detroit).  Its an '05
Slingshot Yellow SSR.  Parked next to my C....the picture should be
captioned...Retro & Real!     ROB KERN
