Clarence Bacon has a Torqueflight in his red C 300.  Also air conditioning
and a 392, lowered, wire wheels, disc brakes.  Should be a great Route 66
cruiser.  Last I knew I believed he lived in Las Vegas.  Have never seen him
on this listsrv.  I know that he was in the Western Club several years ago.
I suspect that he did all the work himself.

    Does anyone have more photos of Bob Lutz C-300 ? I sure am curious about
that Torquflite. While My Powerflite was being repaired, I kicked around the
idea of 3 shifts. Someone said I would have  to change the cross member &
possibly have to modified other stuff. Reinstalling the tranny was enough of
a challenge for me. Still, I'm  wondering what he did to shift the
Torquflite. Did he install pushbuttons or modified the dash shift? John
