        dont know where i heard of it, but ive heard that soaking old
armrests and dash pads in ''go jo'' hand cleaner, that waterless jell
stuff, will revitalize old vinyl and it will regain its pliability and
possibly its size. 
         sounds to me as if its worth a try on some nondescript old hard
and shrunk up armrest......
