I recently had Timo replace my windshield with one of his manufacturer. When I restored the B some years ago, I had purchased a repro windshield gasket that was pretty poorly designed and fit poorly but was better then nothing. I always zeroed in on how ugly it was(doubt if anyone else had noticed it) whenever I would detail the car. As my 15 year old windshield(also a fairly crummy repro) was beginning to de-laminate around the edges I had it replaced. Timo was able to use some generic molding material that he had uncovered somewhere and using it he created a beautiful gasket that looks and fits better then factory. He also installed same in Bill Madden's 110 point red 55 that he restored. Do not have any idea if he would do this for a non windshield customer. Incidentally his windshields in my opinion are as good as any and better then most. Roger Schaaf 300 B Silicon Valley, Ca ----- Original Message ----- From: "Charles M. Two questions: 1. Does anyone know where I can get new rubber gaskets for these two windows for the reinstallation? 2. If new are no available, how do I remove the glass without cutting the existing rubber gaskets?
