Is the button mechanism at the dash correct for a 56. In other words are you adding a Torqueflite to powerflite car and have changed the assembly that sits behind the buttons. All push button mechanisms are interchangeable but do not all function the same way from year to year. Curious what Torqueflite you have that has a "park" position? We have rebuilt it and it shifts fine but the buttons don't activate correctly. Neutral is Drive, Drive is Park etc. What exactly do we need to do to correct this?
