His group "hurriedly mimeographed a sheet of specifications to help embattled owners get their equipment tuned". Carroll says this first sheet began a new tradition in the automotive industry, since it asked 300 owners to write Chrysler about their experiences with the new car. (Not all were positive!) I believe this "sheet" is probably the only owner's manual "supplement" that was ever produced for the C300. I have never seen one, but would like to!
