Just received addendum to earlier note on 300E found,  for sale in PA.  Here

"If you guys are interested in buying the car, here is the number to
Baughmans junk yard. (717) 846-3944. You want to speak to John. He is the
owner. Personally, I would not be in a hurry to purchase the car. It is in
sad shape, the only thing that is worthwhile is the motor and driveline.
Someone has the intake bolts loose on it also. Don't know what was going on
with it. I would try to devise a few of your members interested in it to
call about it and make lower offers than $2500.00 You probably could wear
him down that way and he will give in to a lower price. I was offering
$1500.00 to $2000.00 but he would not take it. I was the first guy trying to
buy this thing as he had it only in his yard for a week.

 If you know of anyone selling a 1959 Chrysler 300 E let me know, I would
like to buy one in either convertible or hardtop. Doesn't matter what
condition as long as it is better than this one I am telling you about.
