I think the article which Tim (greektruck) is referring to is on page 18 of the July issue of Hot Rod. It is a letter from a former Chrysler engineer, and deals with a controversy within Chrysler (circa 1960) over the performance potential of the long rams vs the dual inline setup. In an arranged showdown race, the inline setup prevailed.
