This is why you have to choose your insurance company carefully. I can
guarantee that Hagerty would have padi for the paint job, regardless of the cost
(within reason, which I would think would include at least the wet sanding and
repainting). Did you submit this claim to your insurance company? Let them
subrogate the claim and settle with the apartment owners - that's not your job.
