Has anyone removed the steering sector shaft (''gear shaft'') from the unit with the main assembly still in the car? Looks like the shaft will clear the cylinder head, valve cover, etc., but it's close.

Hi all. I think I mentioned this before or Wayne Graefen probably informed all of you regarding the space that I have on the internet for jigsaw puzzles of classic and custom cars. Whether you're interested in that or not, I'd really like to get some decent pics of Chrysler 300s and Forward Lookers that I can use on that website so if any of you can supply me with some pics I'd really appreciate it. I'd prefer pics taken with an angular view from the front showing either side.

A representative of our club should email the Times with a list of errors.
They can't run a correction if they don't know they made a mistake.
Newspapers take this stuff seriously and the reporter that filed the story
will likely be called on the carpet for it. Be nice about it, though. No
references to Jayson Blair.

Would there be any chance that we could encourage all participants in this forum to turn on spell check in their email client?

Also use of the shift key for caps where appropriate would also help.

Just sitting here feeling bored and had to say something.

Hi All:
I am ready to have my 300F brake booster (and maybe the "H" too) rebuilt. I
am aware of Karp's and Booster Dewey, and have looked at their websites.
There may be others as well. Do any of you have any experiences, either good or
bad, you would like to share? You may email me privately, or on the server, as
you wish. Thanks for the advice.

Nice to see a dealer showing an interest in connecting Chrysler's heritage with the current product.

Any dealer that has a Letter car in his/her own collection ought to consider displaying it at introduction time.

A local Chrysler dealer has contacted me to take my 300C down to their
showroom next month for a few days in connexion with the introduction
of the new model. I have agreed, and if the weather here is still
dodgy (I live in Ottawa, Canada) they will flatbed the car to their
dealership.. Of course, I won't make any comment about the relative
merits of the 57 and 2005 versions.
Seems to me an idea other dealers might usefully pursue.
Would be nice if the man in Fort Wayne could spell "Chrysler:"

  Afternoon Gentlemen,
Timing such as it is ...
I am in the process of aiding one of our local Chrysler dealers, to do the
introduction of both the new Chrysler 300C and the new Chrysler PT Cruiser
Convertible.
This dealer is a major sponsor of our Mopar Club here in the Chicago area,
and we want to help out with the promotion as much as we can. We need to get
some of our classic show vehicles out to the event.
I have made arrangements for the PT Cruiser Club in the area to bring a
group of their vehicles out to the dealership, the evening of April 22 nd.
By this email posting, I am inviting as many of the 300 Club members to
participate in this event as are able to attend. The introduction of the new
vehicles, begins late in the afternoon of the 22nd of April, and continues until
closing of the store. The dealer is planning a light meal for all participants
and some behind the wheel time in the new 300 and/or the PT convertible. He
tells me there will be some additional surprises for members with their cars, ...
believe me, I don't know what that means.
The dealer is in DuPage County, ... West and a touch South of Chicago, in a
very nice suburban setting.
For any additional information and/or to schedule your participation, (even
if for only a portion of the event) please contact me off-list! As I mentioned,
this is a great sponsor friend of Mopars, and we'd like to help out as best
we can.
Lemme know if you'd like to attend.

Ron ...
