Greetings group-
   There is a K convert on ebay, black w/red interior. In Arizona. Owner states it has red leather interior, pics are taken in poor lighting conditions, either too early in the morning or too close to sundown, to see much clearly. I don't recall and can't find all my K info, but was red leather available in 64? I remember that black and pearl white was available. Attn. Gloria- the last 6 numbers of the vin is 142500. Can't find my list of K vins either- this move last year has got me still looking for some things! Might be another found vin. ebay item #2466602346 if any one cares to look- expensive-at $13,500.00, has not met reserve.

I had an all original 300K last year, black with red leather guts. It
was an unrestored car in pretty nice shape. Lee in San Diego.

       Red vinyl was available but not  leather unless there was a special 
order interior available in 64 that I wasnt aware of.

       I've seen this car several times.  The interior was redone and is 
"nice"  but not "correct".  The dash was recovered, cut&sewn as is a common fix 
out here in the desert as everything not metal disintegrates in the sunshine 
which so well preserves everything metal.  The door panels are recovered and the 
silver foil has been eliminated.  Pinstripes were recently added to the car,  
It still rides on wire wheels if I remember.
       I think this car was listed in hemmings or in the club clearing 
house... price $49K if I remember.
       If anyone is seriously interested in the car email me and I can go 
look at it.
