Hello 300'ly to all,
The Mr. Clean AutoDry system is on sale at Walmart....$19.95 for
the starter set. They also have the repacement filter cartridges good
for 10 washes and bottles of the car wash concentrate. I've used the
system 3 times now and each time seems more impressive. For those of you
who like a lot of suds when washing, I found that if I fill my wash
bucket with water (2 tablespoonfuls of Mr. Clean concentrate with 3/4
gallon tap water) and concentrate that I get more suds when in the wash
cycle after spraying on the soap mixture through the handle apparatus.
The final rinse seems to work better with absolutely NO WATER SPOTS. The
clear coat on my 2003 PT Cruiser GT Turbo still looks wet albeit being
dry for 24 hours!! I can't sing the praises more for this system.
300'ly, ROB KERN

I saw the post on the listserver about the complete Chrysler Batwing dual quad setup on E-Bay. I know practically nothing about the earlier Hemi 300's but there is also another Batwing Aircleaner with Dual Quad setup on E$$PAY right now that is from a Cadillac.
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=34198&item=2463077875&ssPageName=STRK:MEBWA:IT

It appears the aircleaners are almost identical. It looks like you could just take off the Cadillac emblem, fill the holes and have one for your Chrysler. It looks quite complete and in nice shape.

The WCFB's even look like they could be the same or at least very similar. It is not as clean as the Chrysler one but so far, a lot cheaper.

300ly

My body man says the reason he's having trouble aligning my hood is that the hinges have seen better days.
Does anyone have an extra pair they're willing to sell?
Please contact off list.
Thanks,
John
