What is the correct KYB shock number for the rear on the 65 L?
KYB KG5511 won't work for the 65 Chrysler.
KG5511 will work for 57 thru 64.
By the way, KG4507 fits fine on the front without any modification to the
lower bushing as is required for previous years.
Cripes it is cold here. Gas charged shocks don't want to compress in 30
degree temps...or maybe it is me that doesn't want to compress in 30
degree
temps.

Subject: For sale - 300F restoration project
Hi to all,
Last try to this group before posting on ebay:
For sale: 1960 Chrysler 300F hardtop restoration project. Consists of :
1960 Chrysler 300F 8403115803 terracotta hardtop, and 1960 Chrysler 300F
body shell 8403134506, and miscellaneous parts
The terracotta hardtop is by far the most interesting. It is loaded to
the
gills. Power windows, seat, antenna, vacuum locks; auto headlamp dimmer;
Mirrormatic; Sure-Grip, air conditioning, tinted glass all around; rear
speaker, rear defogger. Options package "A" as well, includes door edge
guards and vanity mirror and rear license plate vanity frame. . I'm
probably
forgetting something. Car is quite rusty, but basically complete.
Whatever
items were missing when I purchased the car have now been obtained
(complete ram setup, side trim, hubcaps, etc. ) .
The bodyshell is that of a white 300F hardtop with factory air . It is a
VERY nice bodyshell. Very minimal rust. Complete with nice solid subframe.
This is a "one + one = one" scenario. Namely, between the two cars, you've
got an excellent winter restoration project and will be able to make one
good one. I have nearly everything you'll need.
Many, many pictures of both cars can be viewed by going to :
http://chrysler300club.com/jhstuff/300fterracotta/terrcotta.html
for the terracotta hardtop, and
http://chrysler300club.com/jhstuff/300fbody/300fbody.html
for the body shell.
Please contact me directly at : crossram@xxxxxxxxxxxxx if interested.
These
cars have to go before winter. Will post on ebay if no response from Club
members.
300'ly
John

Subject: Chrysler 300 Old generator
Hi all; I have discovered a supply of old Generators and Starters.
I haven't really looked at them yet (it's dark in this old building), but
did get one part # off a Gen with P/S drive on the back. Can anyone
identify
this #? 1440405 or 1440504
Ray Jones
