Many of us like to peruse the local flea and swap markets for parts for
our
Brutes. But isn't it frustrating to go to those places and rarely, if
ever,
find anything useful? Well, this fall, at the Dayton meet, we are going
to try
and do something about that problem. In our parking lot sessions (which
are
often the best part of the meet anyway) we are going to add to the fun,
with a
300 - specific swap meet. Over the years, most of us have gathered an
esoteric collection of parts, some of which may no longer fit into our
specific
needs. So, before heading to Dayton this fall, root thru your garage
storage area,
and bring those no longer needed parts to the meet. You can make some
money,
and perhaps help some other Club member fill a critical need. The more of
us
that bring part to sell or swap, the more fun for everybody! See you in
Dayton! Terry McTaggart

I like that idea. I know I have found very few useful things at swapmeets
for
my 300K. Could anyone please fill me in on the Dayton meet? Dates, etc.?
Thanks so much. I hope to have my car on the road in a few weeks, and
would love
nothing better than to take it to Dayton (Ohio)?

Has anyone in the Southern California area been bold enough to have been
through a 6-way power seat track for the 1962's?
I have 4 of the 6 positions functional and with the 2 positions that are
not functional; you can hear the motor spin, though the seat will not move
up or down.
An upholstery shop had hooked up the power wire to 1 of the 3 solenoids
instead of the motor...oooppps!
I'll appreciate any insight offered here and welcome any help offered too!

i would be thrilled if someone found a 57 left tail light housing in this
accumulation of parts that is to descend apon dayton. of the two that i
have, one is broken with light pitting...and the other has the worst case
of
acne you have ever seen. i'm talking left side only.
so if a great to pretty good one shows up, snag it for old bill...remember
i'm not the bank of america but will pay a fair price for it.
good luck and have a good time

Hi to all,
Next best thing to going to a meet : being able to look at lots of
pictures. We can now do that, thanks for many members who have already
forwarded such pictures to the ECC, and to Don Warnaar for making a nice
page. Don Verity gets first prize for the lead shot.
More pictures will be added as they come in !
The results can be viewed on the Club's site, 'EVENTS' section - or by
clicking on:

See y'all in Dayton,
John
