Subject: Let's Meet and Greet...

I'd like to introduce to the list brand new listee, Gary Gettleman, long
time
friend and major troublemaker as he sold me a 300D about 17 years ago, the

car that rekindled my great affection for the Brutes and over the years
has
cost me a big piece of my children's inheritence. Gary listened to my
babbling about a C softtop in Switzerland a few years ago and I showed him

the website story about the car. Next I know he is IN Switzerland buying
the
car from Nick Conrad and shipping it back to the States, kilometer speedo
and
all. The C, formerly pale yellow (Swiss cheese?) is now turquoise and one
of
the top 5 rags I've ever seen after a very thorough restoration. This
Sunday, the Hillsborough Concourse judges awarded it the Strother MacMinn
Design Award for the "most inspirational design elements for a car of it's

era" Last years winner was a '53 Skylark so the judges know what they are

doing and the crowd loved it. Gary is new at computers and this email
stuff
but he will have some questions for the group I have no doubt.

Welcome Gary, the car sounds gorgeous too. I am new here as well, and
already
have met some great supportive people. I am hoping to make it to the
Michigan
meet in June to meet some more people in the club. Hoping the 300K will
be
ready to drive there. Once again, it is good to see more people join, and
let's keep them on the road! Greg

I have three different sets of heads.. They all have different numbers.
Can someone tell me what the difference in them are?

They came (I beleive) out of a 61 New Yorker.. and one set could be from a
62 300.

Thank You

Bob
