(important! ) 2/ Did the dash lights work at one time under your ownership and then quit, or have they been kaput since you bought the car ? The car starts and runs great, but after about a half hour it starts to bog down and starts to cough and sputter. If I floor it, it takes off again. If I pull over and turn it off and restart it right away it seems to be ok again. Thought it was a stuck choke but that isn't it. Its got new plugs so that isn't it. Could it be bad plug wires? I had that years ago in my 57 Desoto adventurer. Any help would be appreciated.
